I think Kanye wants his rap legacy to be someone who spoke his mind. That's why he's going against the grain with jesus, gays, politiics, diamonds. However, he contradicts himself similar to 2pac. Kanye is becoming more well-known to the public as each day passes by. Personally, I dig his music.

and yeah id agree with p about the kanye issue, but he could be wrong. i dont really care though. i just dont really agree with what kanye said to begin with. bush cares about him and about jesse jackson and any other black person with money. he cares about a rich black person alot more than he does about any poor white redneck. its not about race. its about social class. but saying that probably wouldnt cause as much of a controversy, so i guess it was a smarter business move to just throw in the race card

P tryna sneak his promotion in, Kanye just had better marketing by having his album droppin and huge promotion. Ain't mad at either one of um. Get yours. Anybody who knows anything about Kanye knows that nigga is outspoken as hell, and keeps it all the way real. I ain't feelin' too much of his music cause it just ain't my style, but I respect the nigga cause right or wrong, he man's up and tells it like it is. You can't do nothing but respect that. Did ya'll see the special MTV had on Kanye recently, where Sway interviewed him for like an hour or so? Sway asked him "do you think it was disloyal for you to stay w/Jay when Dame is the one who put you on?" Most of us would be like "nah, cause..............." He was like "yeah" and went on to explain. He talked about how he used to get picked on in high school cause niggas thought he was gay, LOL, he just was real candid. That's just how he is, so I don't think for a minute that he said "ooh, let me sieze this opprotunity to get some more record sales." He just spoke his mind like he would whenever, period. P just hatin' cause he couldn't go platinum now if he wanted to, he a fat, washed up has been.
