ever go platinum? I been listening at some of his old shit recently and realized how tight his shit still is. From the lyrics to the beats, everything. I was wondering if any of his albums went platinum since he did make these albums in the era when real music was appreciated.

Yeah. His first few albums went Platinum up until 1990-Sick, I believe.
