Tied the NFL record for single season TD returns this year (5) against the St. Louis Rams today.

Devin Hester is the truth! Another TD, a punt returned 45 yards (see below for video) for a touchdown, his 4th of the season and currently leads the NFL in Punt Return average and TDs, and the Bears defense generated five takeaways for the second straight game while scoring a touchdown (Ricky Manning Jr. INT) and a safety.

Where would this team be without their Defense and special teams?

Hester is fucking beyond comprehension. Who runs back a kick when the hans team is on the field? Hester, that's who. Anderson got 2 more sacks tonight too, bringing his total to 9 as the #3 on the DE depth chart. We might have 2 ROYs on our hands.

4 KR, 225 yards, 2Ds (94 & 96 yards), 56.4 yard average, 3 tackles and almost had an interception. Not a bad day for a rookie.

What's crazy is he has only been returning Punts up until now when the decided to have him return kickoffs too. Shit, he could have have more than 6 if he's was doin it all year

Not a bad 4th round pick either. Lovie knew exactly what he was doing.

Lovie smith just said after the game that he's thinking about puting him in some offensive plays. I think that's a good idea!


BTW, Grossman had a QB rating of 114.4 (no turnovers). Much better than last weeks 1.3. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I would also like to see more of Adrian Peterson. He had a couple of big plays. He is the third string RB but also is a key player in special teams. Every time I see him I'm impressed. I wouldn't mind seeing him get 5-10 touches a game

its not too farfetched to see him as rookie of the year. without those 2 kick returns this is a hell of a lot closer game. didnt he win another game earlier this year as well?

colston is still the hands down pick for me but if hester gets another one of these games under his belt he'll be a good pick. it would have helped his case to hold on to that pick late in the game as well.
