I dont know much about it, I dont even know what the fuck peeps in Detroit do for fun. Maybe its like Frisco, I dunno. But I was just thinking and I realized that a lot of the rappers from Detroit City are tight as fuck. Im not a "big" fan of anywhere but the West Coast. I hate the East Coast - Fuck it (Even though they do got some cool rappers. SOME.). The South is aight but I wouldnt live there even if someone paid me their soul. But if theres one place that I can identify with music-wise besides the west coast, is probably Detroit. Lets see, we got:

Anyone whos heard Eminems song "Stir Crazy" knows who Madd Rapper is. I was lookin for his CD cause I havent heard him anywhere else but hes sick as fuck in that song.

And anyone heard the new Royce 5'9" Rock City CD? Hes pretty hard imo...

& anyone who doesnt like D12 still has to admit that they have very creative lyrics and take the same style of presentation as their white master. heh.

This local cat named CRANE NOVAKANE has a cd out called MR. EXCELLENCE that he was selling out of his car and it's tight on the real. THE CHEDDA BOYZ/ STREETLORDZ get a lot of love in DETROIT as well. I got super skills but I never have taken it too serious for some strange reason.
Also FLINT, MI has some tight rappers. MC BREED, DAYTON FAMILY(SHOESTRING, BOOTLEG, & GHETTO E), JAKE THE FLAKE, & TOP AUTHORITY.
