IVE WORKED AT A RV ONE AND ITS PRETTY KICK BACK,I HAD TO WASH THOSE BIG FUCKIN THINGS. I WOULD HAVE TO DO LIKE 4 A DAY OR SUMTIMES ITS LESS CUZ THERE HELLA BIG. IT WAS KOOL. UR NOT IN NO RUSH TO GET THEM DONE. NO ONE BOTHERED ME. IT WAS ME N SUM OTHER GUY. ONE THING SUCKED WAS WHEN HIS PUNK ASS DIDNT COME TO WORK I HAD TO DO THEM MYSELF. SO I WOULD DO LIKE 2 A DAY.
you vaccum & wash cars.....they might have you driving all different cars, but it depends on the dealership. my lady works for Jeep/Chrysler/VW dealership and the porter/detailer is the person who washes and vaccums the cars that are done being serviced. it's a cool job, some people start off as detailers and end up in the office or on the asphalt trying to sell cars...
i did this straight out of high school, i figured college wasnt for me and it was a full time job. 10 years later im still in the business as the assistant service manager. this business is cutthroat but in the long run you could make alot of money. as far as the position itself, its not glamous by any means, i say try it whats the worse that can happen
i worked for ford as a car deatiler and shit sucked had to clean dirty ass used cars with shit growin in the trunk and smellin like shit that werent even gonna be sold on the lot, but sold to those smaller janky ass companies that buy fucked up cars and fix them a lil for some stupid asses to buy. During this time is when they sell a good amount of cars i had to clean 3 trucks and a car by myself cause they all came back at the same time shit sucks. You never get off at the same time everyday if you close i remember i was stuck there till like 1230 in da mournin for this one couple who were deciding if they wanted a car or not and they managers wont let you leave till every customer is gone. I just hosed down the car dried it off and did a half ass job. Saturday's were the shit tho cause they would always buy us food then we would still get a lunch break
