i just deposited $600 bucks in my account in anticipation for the first saturday of college football. Bout to parlay my winnings into a new plasma TV.

Wishful thinking, I know.

As an avid gambler, I have got to say that parlays are sucker bets. The same with teasers, sweetheart teasers, cross-sport bets, etc. Good luck though.

What site are you using by the way?

im using intertops

i never parlay in the beginning. You have to figure in order to win a parlay, you have to call 2 right. Might as well pick that one game and bet that heavy.

Games im looking at:

SD st vs UTEP
UCLA vs Utah
Cal vs Tennessee
USC vs Arkansas

got some others, but we'll see

i just got this "power sweep" issue from ncsports.com today. I don't pick the games based on it, but its interesting to see what they predict.

In those two games it likes Oregon 40-23 and ND only 27-24

it does like the Huskies 41-17 though

the underdog play of the week is Arkansas over SC with the razorbacks actually winning.

I'll usually bet three different NFL 3 team parlays and usually hit at least one each week. Bet 200 on each and as long as I get the one thats $1400. Dont really do too much NCAA bettin. But I was thinkin about takin UT -40.5 against North TX. UT goin out to prove they can still smash folks without VY. Those backs they have will crush North TX easy.

For all those who bet online, watch out. This new senate bill might get passed soon making the third party intermediaries you use to transfer money to the site illlegal.

Summary. HR 4419 IH would ban the use of certain bank instruments for Internet gambling.

i just noticed that they changed the rules.

From the beano cook chat today (dorky me had 2 questions answered on there - i was bored at work):

Tad, McLean Virginia: Beano, what will the altered time keeping system do to college football this year?

Beano Cook: The one thing it will do on change of possession is give the defense a better shot of seeing what the offense will do. Coaches were holding of offense on the sideline until very late but that will be over. And as Spurrier said, it will give the underdog a little more of a chance with more plays in the game and more urgency from the team with the ball.

Alright just got done turning my bets in for the weekend

4 team parlay

michigan-24
nebraska-20
wake forest -14
oklahoma -20


we'll see what happens

I should be ok.

Michigan should roll just as Nebraska should.

Oklahoma is iffy but I think with the qb in all that mess they will want to show that they are not hurtng with him gone and take it to them hard

wake..ehh not sure on that 1 either but I wanted a 4 team instead of 3 team.
