A Tennessee-based independent label run by a former skincare expert has acquired rap mogul Suge Knight's Death Row Records. Susan Berg's Global Music Group purchased the company for $25 million at auction on Tuesday - and now she owns the rights to unreleased recordings by late rapper Tupac Shakur and other hip-hop gems.

Berg's company beat out heavyweights like Warner Music Group to pick up the company Knight founded in 1991.

As well as Shakur, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre once called Death Row Records home before falling out with Knight.

The label was placed into receivership when Knight filed for bankruptcy.

Insiders claim Berg and her Global Music Group partners now own several albums worth of Shakur's music, and it's possible for the label to release a new album of his material later this year.

Celebrating at the BET Awards on Tuesday night, Berg told reporters, "I got the whole f---ing s---."
