^After that ball dropped in left between Kielty & Scutaro I thought for sure the Mariners were gonna win, just seemed like it was gonna be one of those days...

Hahahaha

That shit's funny as hell. Blanton wasn't as dominant as he usually is against the Mariners, but holdin' them to 3 runs isn't bad at all. The game was crazy, though. The M's definitely gave the A's a run for their money at the end, and I'm surprised they didn't pull it off with all the chances they had.

Ichiro blew it that whole series fuck him right now for the moment

and even if he was batting .500 the whole year it dont mean shit without any RBI's or runs scored to back the numbers up

Ichiro, Beltre, and Sexson are really pissing me off right now more than everybody
You have to understand...Ichiro isnt an RBI guy...hes a run guy...he gets on base...and guys like Raul & Richie get him home....and Ichiro WAS 2nd in the AL in runs...not sure where he stands now....

I think he only had like 3 hits in the last two series (vs. Oakland & Baltimore.)
3-26 in the last 6 games....

Yeah...he is in a slump...

July 28th he was batting .347

August 6th he is batting .333

he WAS on pace to break his OWN single season hit record....before the All-Star game he was 11 hits better than he was LAST year at the All-Star break....

all i know for sure is beltre shouldnt be getting paid as much as he is. richie shouldnt have such an awful average and such a pitiful amount of homeruns for a guy thats supposed to crush homeruns; that broussard guy hasnt done shit from what ive seen with my two eyes, and our chances are getting slimemr and slimmer with each game that we could win by 10 runs but end up losing by 1 or 2
I agree...not to mention our pitching is average ona good day...Moyer Never gets run support..and of the 13 shutouts(M's lead the MLB inthis category) the M's have received...Moyer has been a victim of 6 of them...and three of those shutouts he has given up 3 runs or LESS....

Mark Lowe and Putz are very promosing bullpeners....along with Soriano(when he is healthy)....Lowe is a shutdown holder...and Putz is a Hoffman type closer...

I said that when they signed him... He hit about 15-25 HR's a year with a slugging % in the .400's... Then on his contract year he hits almost 50 HR's with a slugging percentage up in the .700's or something... It was SO OBVIOUS that he wasn't going to be that player every year, but it didn't stop the Mariners from paying him like he was.
