Just a quick note,
I been sitting here in the midst of getting some work done, and I just wanted to take a minute to give props to every artist out there who is out there on the grind on their own, and trying to get their own.
I have learned alot in this game in the last year, and I have a newfound respect for artists who get their own, rather than ones who have had everything given to them on a silver platter. People like Dsane, Cool Nutz, and even lately D.o.g. are the people who I look at as really, really gettin their own....I gotta take a minute to show the respect...
I just see things nowadays, where certain artists expect things to happen right away, or have everything given to them, or have a certain attitude that they are the shit, when in reality they are not....and it finally got to me, I cant lie....
Props to everyone on the grind, in the streets, or shit, even if you are still in the lab working on your demo...I just wanna say, my next ep I put out, this one is for yall, the people, just like me, who dont got shit and are still doing it, people who didnt neccasarilly grow up in the hood or grew up broke, but are damn sure broke now, people who want to embrace the whole culture of hiphop, all you cats out there who are still trying to learn how to count out 16 bars, and people might clown you, but you still go, all that shit, fuck it, even if your just a fan.........
