Dope movie if you're expecting some gore and action and slight scares.

If you're looking for something else in a film other than the fun stuff above it's not for you.

Gets two thumbs up from me for entertainment/special effects/suspence/and light humor. Added bonus the occational titties.

*looks forward to the unrated DVD*

Oh yea and this puts that bullshit 28 days later to shame, so everyone that was dickriding that crap ass movie you better see this cuz you'll "Skeet skeet skeet" all through the whole thing.

did it even resemble the og version outside of the mall part? I'm gonna take my sons to watch it...

I like the og when the motorcycle gang slides thru and lets all the zombies in the mall lol...

^^ The pregnant womans in it too, thats about all the similarities. And the leader of the biker punks has a cameo, I just realized he was the one that did the special effects for the og also.

I thought it was dope. The soundtrack was awesome too, the Johnny Cash at the beginning and the lounge singers version of sickness. Hella funny too, "How bout a tall glass of shut the fuck up"

The story is very different, apart from the mall and the zombies thats where the similaritities end.

I was a huge sceptic goin in there as i love the first one so much. After watching it im glad they made a different movie rather than copying the og.

Theres a few cameos from og cast members, Tom Savini (og motorcycle dude and special fx master) and Ken Foree who played Peter in the first pops up on tv, saying those same immortal lines "when theres no more room in hell etc..."

Ive read sum reviews of the new version and they all say it has more gore than the first, this is absolute bullshit, it isnt half the gore fest of the Romero classic.

Still worth a view

I liked the acknowledgement to Fulci's Zombie Flesh Eaters.

They shud remake Day of the Dead next and bring back Bub.

I heard this shit was nothing like the O.G. version....
But I think that's a good thing though. Cuz had these cats fucked around with tryin to make it like the original they would've fucked it up big time.
The original can't be fucked with, specially if you ain't even getting George Romero to direct this flick for you. A zombie movie with out the master Romero is like Pizza with generic cheese....

The movie looks interesting but I really wish they would've given it a different name.

Any news on George Romero's new Living Dead movie????

haven't seen texas chainsaw yet but heard some good thangs bout' it. As for houses of a 1000 corpses, str8 boo boo, another cheezy as fuck movie. Who was that fuck that told us all about it before it came out that it was gonna be sick? oh nevermind that was at bayridaz. House of a 1000 corpses was like the original texas chainsaw movie with what's his face....matthew mcconahue, cheezier than cheetos.
