he confessed to killing her and even told the police where he buried/hid her body and that is how they found her.

and if i am not mistaken they also found his DNA under her nails and found her DNA in his motorhome/car (or something like that)

hatch it was a handglider that found the body.i heard the 911 tape that dude went and hid cause he thought the killer might still be there weeks or months after it happened.he was basicly freaked out.

Yea they offered a deal to give the location of the body if they wouldn't seek the death penalty, but they ended up finding it on their own. Thats suspect enough right there, besides they found her hair, blood, and clothing in his house. COME ON! He deserves it....

Back in the days, these guys used to always trip and fall on a cop's gun on the way to the squad car. Cops can't get away with that shit anymore though.:dead:

my bad i got it wrong. what happened was that he offered to tell them where he hid the girl in exchange for a guarantee that he not get the death penalty but as you said some1 else found her and luckily the cops didnt have to make that deal with him

you know whut my memory tricked me it's samantha runion that was found by the handglider.

the girl westerfield killed was found by volunteer searchers.
