David West wins AP Player of the Year

I used to think this cat was hands down the best player in college hoops; now I hold Dwayne Wade up their with him. David West was just named the Associated Press player of the year receiving 30 votes. I don't think this is the official player of the year award, but it comes as no suporise to many that he receives this honor. [20.1 PPG 11.8 RPG] Tubby Smith take coach of the year honors.
