He'll play harder than ever...David Robinson is a true competitor, he'll play his hardest to leave a good name for himself...

When he announced his retirement, they asked him what are his plans for this season, and he said he's just gonna take it easy and enjoy his last season in tha NBA. So if he's gonna "take it easy" this year, then he might not give 100%, ya feel me

The Admiral has always been one of my favorite Centers...I dont think theres a issue with him playing a 100% in his last season...Thats nothin new...He has played 100% every season he has played...No matter if the man is injured or not he gives it all...

I still remember in 94 when The Admiral scored 71 points and snatched 14 boards against the Clips...He was a beast that game...

A class act guy and a solid basketball player...

from my era, Robinson was the best center in the game and probly ranks in the top 5 players of all time to me. he hurt his back badly which of course slowed his play, altho he can still contribute alot to the spurs, im sure everyone can see the reason for him wanting to retire. and unlike malone, ewing and barkley, robinson got his (well deserved) championship ring. and even know his game droped off the past few season, he'll always get full respect from me because of the way he dominated the game in the past.

you gota wonder how long these guys like ewing, malone (& stock) scottie, hakeem etc will stay in the league to, which is kinda sad cause i grew up when those guys were at the top of their game and i learnt so much from those guys (as im sure most nba fans did) and now they gota kinda take a step back cause of the new generation...you know.

Duncan's gonna be a free agent next year, so he might not stay with the Spurs
