Amazing.

He's on pace to throw for over 5,600 yards and 58 touchdowns. For those of you who don't know the previous TD record is 48 by Dam Marino.

It's been 5 games and this cat is only getting better as the season progresses. What are everyones thoughts on him?

Is he just a peice of the puzzle? I used to think all Vikings QB's were over rated and that their O-Line, Running Backs, and Receivers were to thank for the teams success. If you remember back in the late 90's, they could have thrown just about anyone in there to throw touchdowns. Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, and Daunte Culpepper were all having success throwing the ball. But what Culpepper is doing now is just amazing. Already 18 touchdowns in 5 games.

Do you think he is going to wake up with a hangover and just crash, or are we witnessing history in the making?

Would you rather have Daunte Culpepper or Peyton Manning on your team? I would personally rather have Manning because I think you can thrown him into any offense and watch him flourish.

WELL in the fantasy league. Pepper is a monster. Im going to win my matchup this week and NOT one of my others players scored more than 10 pts. But In real life, Manning is the best QB in the league.

He's good and hes got good WRs to throw to. Robinson is pretty tight and Burleson should get up there as well. I knew his little brother and seeing how much of an athlete his brother is Nate will probly become a great wr. They also haven't played any real good D's. His accuracy seems to be better and he's using his mobility wonderfully. I see him breaking that Marino record.

He'll probably have a good 12-15 fumbles for the year too. Averages over 1 fumble per game, I believe that's an NFL record.
For real? LOL I didn't know that shit. Still though, I take his 5 TD's and 2 fumbles and don't look back.

DaytonFamily: How about this. Next week, bench everyong of your roster except Culpepper, and if you win, we'll declare you the winner of the league, the money, and we'll also declare you the winner of the NBA fantasy money league that has yet to start. Deal?

I didn't watch yesterdays game, but a week or two ago he had 69 fumbles in 60 games. I'm not saying he isn't a great QB, but turnovers are crucial. Plus in my opinion he is a choker- can't win when it's important (playoffs).

It is fucking mind-boggling how big he is though.

*EDIT*
NFL.com reports 63 fumbles

Does anyone know the record for most passing yards in a season?
5,084 also by Dan Marino. Marino has the record for passing yards in a season, passing yards for career, season touchdowns, and career touchdowns.

Who cares about moving, Thats why u have runningbacks.
I am talking about mobility. Peyton is a pocket guy. He likes to set his feet, stay in the pocket, take his 5 or 7 foot drops and fire the ball. But he can't "throw on the run" that why the Colts lost to NE last year in the playoffs. If you can get Manning to run you can beat the Colts.

Dante can do both... light you up from the pocket and throw on the run at the same time. At 6'5 265 he's hard to bring down... he can break tackles like a MF and still complete bombs. Dante's mobility makes him more dangerous than Manning. If you know football...

Pepper is not more dangerous than Manning. Manning doesnt fumble when he is hit. Pepper anytime he decides to run has a good chance to fumble. And oh your point about Manning agaisnt NE. Maybe if that actaully called a fucking PI penalty the colts would of won that game.

Yeah I remember that game though... I actually thought Indy got ripped off on a few calls. NE's defensive backs were holding and grabbing messing up Peyton's timing and all. Culpepper does fumble because he has little hands but his mobility still makes him more dangerous than your pocket passer Manning.
