Im looking for a new way to play my music when im doin a show.I cant be bothered with the worries of cd's......Dealing with a venues cd equipment sux.....Cd skipping dont make for a good show.Right now im trying to find a mp3 player or mini ipod that at least hold a gig but Im unsure if the mp3 players or the ipod has the right connection to plug into a system......What are some of you artists using at shows to play your music?

yeah of course MOST cats on here are still usin CDs cause it seems to be the most cost effective way....And especially if yer doin a show with others, it'll be the most universal way...

The shows I DJ'd for Too Short an E-40 tho they had a hard disk player that the DJ brought....

Instant Replay......only way to go for true sound quality and reliability. Basiclly the only way for it to fuck up is user error. But on a small budget....dats are fine too. I dont know how reliable an ipod is. We used an ipod for music between sets for Tech n9ne shows. but i dont know about putting your whole show on it. It is simple to hook into the sound system...just get a 1/4 inch to rca output cord.
