I've been bumping BOMBAY THE HARDWAY: GUNS, CARS, AND SITARS recently. It's a collab with the Automator and Dj Shadow using samples from Indian gangster movies. A damn good recording. I've always liked the Automator's production, but he usually has gimps rapping that end up ruining a perfectly good beat. Prime example: Dr. Octagon. BOMBAY THE HARDWAY is all instrumental, and I highly reccomend it to the hashish smoking hip-hop crowd.

I won't come to Shadow's defense because I haven't heard much of his work, but on BOMBAY THE HARDWAY, Shadow tears shit up. And Automator is hands down one of the best producers. Why don't you got listen to GUNS, CARS, AND SITARS before you start speaking? Or better yet, go put your Black Elvis LP on Repeat and keep telling yourself its was the production, not the wack-ass corny lyrics, that ruined Dr. Octagon.
