Shit wasn't funny... lucky it wasn't two white dudes.. then it would be racism...
but yeah even though the dances and little gimmic rappers are what is selling today....that video will do nothing to stop the upcoming rappers from following the latest trend. 90's babies don't even know what Black Face is and wouldn't under stand why it is derogatory.... sad thing is seeing old school rappers selling out following the younger generation just to make a dollar.
The Artists ain't killing the game it is the consumers, because a lot of theses rappers that are selling don't even have the lyrical skills to compete with their predecessors... and record labels could care less as long as it sells.

Props for putting blame on the consumers though. Artists have a hand, but consumers are what drive what is to follow.
This video is barely funny, extremely stupid, and sort of distorts the point... saying rap music is driven by racial bias is completely fucking ignorant. This is YOUR art, and if YOU want to sell it for a large PROFIT, and you make the conscious effort to change your art to appeal to suburban high school kids around America, that's YOUR fault.
I like Nas, but for him to endorse the idea that black hip-hop/R&B entertainers are on the verge of becoming slaves is stupid as hell.
