There is some truth to that...every show has to have the character you love to hate, but this season was close between him & Forrest. I was also impressed at him killin the cat, which they never really touched on again, unless he's going to go postal at some point.

i think when dutch killed the cat to try to understand the killer's mind. i dont think it was to show dutch crossing the line, but i got to admit, he tried that pimp lesson on that mexican cop pretty quick.

and i actually thought whittaker was a likeable character. that speech about vic tasting like piss in front of the chief of police was over the top, yet golden at the same time
