Dude is the biggest bargin in the world - he's gonna break the bank next year
Cabrera agrees at $472,000

MIAMI (AP) -- Florida Marlins slugger Miguel Cabrera agreed Thursday to a one-year contract that will pay him $472,000 in the majors, meaning he'll likely be one of baseball's best bargains again this season.
Cabrera batted .323 with 33 home runs and 116 RBIs in his third major league season last year. He'll be eligible for arbitration for the first time after this season.
"I'm happy," Cabrera said. "You have to put up your numbers every year and see what happens. My time is coming, you know?"
His contract calls for a $296,000 salary if he's in the minors.
Marlins right-hander Sergio Mitre agreed to a contract that pays him $330,000 in the majors and $200,337 in the minors. The Marlins renewed the contract of left-hander Jason Vargas, 5-5 as a rookie last year, for the $327,000 minimum in the majors and $155,505 in the minors.
Every player on Florida's 40-man roster is under contract.
