yea somebody needs to come up with a new site of their own where sellers like us don't have to deal wit or worry about so much bullshit. i hate ebay and paypal for that matter. you would think wit all the money they pull in that they would just keep shit cheap and affordable for loyal sellers like ourselves. yea that i think you're talkin about meg whitman right? i hope she don't get in as gov for cali.

Yep.

Yep. I'm taking all of my items down at the end of their 30 day cycle. Everything is going over to my website. I'm not doing .50 per item and they're keeping the FVF fee's about the same as well. I will take advantage of their .99Cent free listing auctions though. Other than that...they get's nathan from me. This is why I created my own site in the first place...eBay's fee's.

It seems like the Ebay fees have made Ebay lame now. I used to be able to type in random rappers' names (Messy Marv, Mac Dre, etc.) and get many listings of just ordinary people auctioning off their CD for $0.99 starting bid because they bought it and either need the money or didn't like it. Now, I do the same and 90% of the results are businesses selling the CDs for $15-$20. I use Ebay because I don't want to pay that much for a CD, maybe $10 at the most.

It's a two way street though. If y'all are dropping ebay listings, don't you think you'll lose a lot of sales because the majority of buyers are on ebay and not any other alternative auction sites? I guess that's why ebay increase their fees because they know that they can charge almost whatever they want. it's hella greedy anyway

Numerous times have I tried to look for eBay alternative. To no avail. From buyer's point of view. There are sites, however with no products listed. So to me they are of no use. It will take some time for another big player to come up and claim a piece of cake; mainly due to extensive and essential promotion that would be needed.

.....

I mean I know everyone wants to make money but in reality I dont see why people complain so much where else would you be able to sell a cd for some of the prices that they go for. I mean you go to a used cd store they might give you anywhere from .50 cents to 10 dollars max for a cd.
