Here is what I Think:

After listening to it about 3 or 4 times today, I have to admit I am left wanting more. It's a pretty short album in lenth (43 Minutes) and it has relitivly short songs. It just didnt turn out to be the album I was expecting. I think its Mac Mall, When he raps, Id rather hear Dre. Dre's lyrics are way tighter than Mall's one style flow. The beats are way too soft, I wanted to hear some rider shit, some mobb shit..all we got was some player shit, not that thats bad, just wanted a few sick tracks instead of 12 coo ones.

But...I still like it. Ill most likely be bumpin it for a long minute

I was pretty dissapointed with it. IMO 75% of the beats was garbage, I get the feeling that Mall and Dre didnt record their tracks in the studio together too. Dre's spits were clean for the most part, a couple of his tracks though sounded like they were cut from his other albums. Mall, who IMO usually catches the beat with a more precise, Jay Z/Biggie Smalls/Yukmouth flow, was at a major DISADVANTAGE because he was rappin on beats that dont complement him at all. With that as a given, I would have to say Mall's lyrics were not as impressive as most of his solo albums. For a while Mac Mall was one of my favorites but in the last 2 years he's really diassapointed. My favorite tracks is "Cuddies say yeee," "Nation of Thizzlam," and "Klyde Mall and Dre." Maybe after a few more listens itll grow on me, but I already heard it 5 times through. You know ya boy dont bullshit with my reviews, so read what i said to figure out where I rank it. I dont want to throw up a rating that makes a great deceased artist like Dre look bad, especially with a project he had little control over.
