everyone should pick this up, and his last album "blocc music" if you want quality san diego albums that you hear us SD natives brag about, but you never hear.
both albums are in heavy rotation for me, i respect the fact that he can make really gangster music but at the same time talk on subjects ranging from the jail system psychology, the black struggle, his own personal issues growing up, his brother facing double digits in jail and homies bieng dead through banging, and at the same time he'll make songs about hoes too.
alot of times you hear albums and you have to skip songs to go to the bangers..battleram did a good job at giving the whole album bangers...so you dont do too much skipping around..
the skits are tight too, the boys n the hood one and the mack skit...those are real gangster ass moments in movies and its almost a eeire way to start a gangster rap song..
its pretty hilarious how bold they are with the naming of streets where dopes is sold at...so that lets you know its really going down and the cops already know..
its really dope to hear shit like this drop in 2007 and i urge everyone who really reps SD to go out and buy albums...dont be on the internet lookin for them...
and yall mcs out there..start havin ya cds on deck...cuz ive met alot of yall and i woulda bought albums that moment...
only san diego mc ive never caught without cds is orko.
