So basically K.C. got a hold of Culpepper sometime last week, set up a work out and Culpepper calls them back and says he's going to work out for somebody else...

and it ends up being the Detroit Lions.

Detroit > KC, but only because they have prettier colors. LOL

And ROFL @ Mooreblock calling someone else ''washed up''...which is what Collins was until the past few weeks. You never know...he may be a decent QB in the right situation, like Collins is right now.

You're a fucking moron. What I said was that KERRY at one time was considered "WASHED UP"...he was considered that THIS YEAR. YET he's performing decently...MAYBE Daunte can still play. THAT is what I said, you dumb son of a bitch.

COMPREHEND. I didn't say they were THE SAME, in any way.

Mooreblock has to be the dumbest cat on this board. Collins a vet back up qb? LOL.... Vince Young is the vet back up qb. Collins is the starter until he gets hurt period.

And Culpepper wanted a chance to start not be a backup... hence: contacting Detroit because he knows their qb situation is pretty bad. And he has a chance to throw to a pretty good receiver in Calvin Johnson once he becomes the starter which everyone knows he will.

according to my sources.. culpepper was waiting for a call from KC but they never actually called him for a workout/tryout

The Kansas City Chiefs observed workouts Tuesday by former Tampa Bay quarterback Bruce Gradkowski and former Jacksonville quarterback Quinn Gray, one of whom is expected to sign a contract with Kansas City. Coach Herm Edwards didn't say much about what he saw in the workouts Tuesday, other than that a signing might be imminent.

If you're not a starting quarterback in the NFL you're either:

A) a declining veteran, on the roster JUST IN CASE the starter (that guy you used to be) gets hurt.

B) a developing young guy (i.e. Aaron Rodgers)

C) Washed up. For instance: Jon Kitna

...and I wouldn't mind seeing Daunte throw to Calvin Johnson for the rest of the fucking season, play after play game after game.

Detroit will put Culpepper on their backs if he can give the Lions 2 or 3 good drives per game.

Shit, if anything it will get some Lions footage on ESPN. Detroit has got to be the most avoided NFL team on that network, nobody likes talking about them.

Who gives a rats ass....lol

We already have the poor mans Culpepper in Gray anyway.

Plus, I think its best if we just ride it out with Thigpen. He shown he can get it done in the NFL against the Jets last week making Culpepper an after thought.

/me jumps on the Thigpen bandwagon.
