I think the point is that IF they bring you back, it will be in a time where technology has developed to the point where whatever ailment you had IS easily curable.

I don't know shit about the subject but I read the wikipedia link you provided, lol. Sounds like some crazy shit. Reminds me of Austin Powers.

I agree that is what they're betting on, but you still would be the wrinkled up old body right?

For a young person, the lifetime cost of cryonics is no greater than that of smoking, cable TV, or regular eating out.
LOL... trying to lure in the young one's

So they freeze your body before death? In a way isn't this the same as assisted suicide. Sorry for being close minded.

Futurama comes to mind... which is glady going to be resurrected next year!!

" In the United States, cryonics can only be legally performed on humans after clinical death. "

you have to pay before you die obviously but they don't freeze you until you die.lol

I'd rather give money to my family than spend it on some bullshit like this. When i die either i have that meeting with god, or something else happens, or nothin happens, but that freezing and unfreezing shit wont work, your dead, and aint no comin back from that.

thats why they gotta freeze you when you are still alive. fish, flies, frogs, etc seem to work out fine. im not saying we are that simple, but for you to say it wont work because it doesnt currently work isnt saying anything.
If it works with frogs, it will work with humans too, the only question is whether personality will be preserved

But I am not familiar enough with the subject and I don't know whether it has worked with frogs, I have to see original reports on this

So to Expert or the the more advanced minded scientists. What if the brain freezes would nerves be damaged, veins, blood vessels? With essential parts of the body such as the one mentioned how is it possible to even be revived?

It depends on how much and how they were damaged

check out wood frogs. thats indeed the question. i think we wil start looking at ways to implant the information, "upload" etc into the human brain. this could remedy that, far out shit, store the brain info on a disk, and the body is the computer that runs the shit.

fuck freezing, just snatch fresh bodies.
I think your on to something here
