I LIKE IT HOMIE........

YOU GOT A GOOD VOICE FOR THE SHIT, BUT SOME OF THE SHIT YOU SAID WAS UNCLEAR. NO DOUBT DUE TO MIC QUALITY. BUT IF YOU GET BETTER SHIT TO WORK WITH YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THIS RAP SHIT. REAL TALK. TRY COPPIN A CONDENSOR MIC FOR ABOUT 100 BUCKS AND A PREAMP. ALTOGETHER IT'LL RUN YOU ABOUT 200 TOPS. AFTER THAT YOU CAN LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE CAPABLE OF. LYRICS AND DELIVERY ARE THERE, BUT UNFORTUNATELY QUALITY IS NOT.

AS FOR FATAL........ I DOUBT I NEED TO SAY IT, BUT THAT WAS SICK. GOOD QUALITY FOR HOME-RECORDING. NICE PUNCHES AND RAW LYRICS.

OVERALL THE DISS WAS NICE. KEEP LETTIN DUDES KNOW HOW YALL GET DOWN.

LYRICS:

umbravo:

i bomb-on-ya-text, trust me im awesome-with-plex/
im a violent nigga, ill put his head off-in-his-chest/
and take it off-of-his-neck, i mean the mark-of-his-set/
shit and piss on it and throw it on his corpse-for-the-rest/
you a broke ass bitch and ya momma-is-next/
my doe like run on sentences, all commas-in-checks/
hike up your skirt little girl, i see your cunt-in-ya-dress/
all the real niggas know u gay, no need to front-for-the-rest/
with glocks-and-uzis, ill come up to you block-and-do-thee/
clappin in theatre, i even shot-the-movie/
you just made cause im real and your not-like-cooties/
ill fuckin slice off ya ugly dome like the top-on-new-jeeps/
you say you clappin-rugers, somebody got ya ass-influenced/
ill leave no remanders in ur clique like math-and-neuters/
im passing-buddhas, i dont wanna have-to-shoot-ya/
but you talking to much shit, imma have-to-do-ya/

FATAL NYGHTMARE:

This dude's phony as fuck, I'm down-to-hurt-a-faker/
Who'da thought D.O.R. would face a Bow Wow impersonator/
Dude is way too young to come and face-a-vet/
Only time his 'shits' 'cocked' is during 'anal-sex'/
I'll break-his-neck, this kid is only wishin-we-shook/
Every 'line' of his is 'bitten', like he a 'fish-on-a-hook'/
The Crucifiyah? Bitch it's evident that you's-a-liar/
He gettin tugged thru the mud.. in 'drag mode' like dude's-attire/
..When I'm spittin I be kickin that potent-shit/
I stay killin funk like a stick of deodorant/
Ask the kid where his focus-went, I stay scramblin-brains/
Grab-by-the-reigns, and blow his fuckin back-out-his-frame/
I'm emaculate with the raps-I-kick, you gettin touched-hoe/
I'll do you like your crew, we gonna leave you cut-throat/
So think before you speak, and put some thought when you rhymin-now/
Cuz the only time you want beef with D.O.R. is if we dinin-out/

It doesn't seem like Fatal's part would be a legit freestyle, but if it is, more power to him. I usually never believe it when people have more than like 5 metaphors in one verse on a freestyle.
It's all good though, I'm glad to see Fatal is still rappin. I haven't seen him on this forum in a couple years

thats what you dont understand about freestyling, its off the top, so your gonna end up sayin shit youve said before but flippin it a little, thats why practice makes you better at it

I agree. Most people think of a "freestyle" as a verse that you come up with at that exact moment, but IMO that's not true. If you spit a sixteen that includes previously thought up punches, but you've never actually written anything down, I'd still consider that a freestyle. Even that's hard to do, though.

@ CHRIS: I stay in Spring Valley, homie. But you can catch me from San Ysidro up to Oceanside.

Like I've always said, gather thoughts and spit em.

When you hear complexity in a freestyle you better believe it's premeditated. I've never written anything I claim as a freestyle. I have punchlines and metaphors running thru my mind all day and night. I'll break them out in freestyles or written verses, whichever pops up. The key is to learn how to apply them when the time is right. I do not memorize and practice a verse and claim it as a freestyle, but most punchlines have ran thru my head before I use them. But the real skill is working them into your freestyle while keeping the rhyme scheme complex. Any 'freestylist' who drops punches and metaphors and claims he's spitting them all off top is full of shit.

This particular piece.. I had a few ideas and concepts for some punches, but I did not form the actual line until I spit it off top. If you don't believe it's a freestyle because you think it's too good, all I can say is thanks.

i agree, most people do this, theyll say a punch they said in another freestyle, but with a twist to make it different
