Crooked I/Life After Death Row DVD IN STORES NEXT WEEK
The highly anticipated Life After Death Row DVD is finally in stores next week, on August 29th 2006. The project has been in the making since Crooked I ended his 4 year recording contract with Death Row Records.
Crooked I was the #1 artist at Death Row Records, and was at the forefront of taking the label into the new millenium, appearing on every album release since 99' and various guest spots for Ja Rule, Ashanti and 2Pac Shakur. Suge Knight labelled him "The Best in the West" and he appeared on numerous TV and Radio shows during that spell. This tell all DVD documentary showcases Crooked I's story of life on and after Death Row, with interviews from other former label-mates and affiliates such as RBX, Eastwood and C-Style. The DVD also boasts Live Shows, Music Videos and appearences from Hip Hop pioneers Russell Simmons and Master P, along with industry icons like Bun-B, W.C. and Loon. There is also a special segment dedicated to the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes who was part of Death Row and worked closely with Crooked I just before her passing.
The DVD also comes with a bonus music CD, a mixtape introducing Crooked I's new empire Dynasty Entertainment.
