Crooked IMO spits nothing but str8 fire, and 9 times out of 10 comes sick! Where as Jay dumbs down a lot

Right now as things are i would declare Crooked a better lyricist. Although i would love to see these 2 square off in a battle!!!!

jay doesn't even rap in crook's style I think. and Jay never been the best lyricist, just one of the most innovative lyricist in the mainstream.

I barely remember a good track I've heard with Crooked I on it, and he has no album out after all these years...

this definitely does not make you better than Jay-Z...

NAS is a better lyricist than JAY Z

I can name many rappers that are better than JAY Z aka "NOTHING SPECIAL".
JAY Z is way overrated. He has put out some good songs over the years but his fan base over hype him. He didn't get no love till PAC & BIGGIE died. He crowned himself "KING HOVA". PAC or BIGGIE never did that!!! They earned it by putting out some classic sh*t.

A lot folks say REASONABLE DOUBT was slept on but when I listen to it the beats are fire but JAY Z's voice gets aggravating after about four songs. I'm not hating on him cause he's done his thing in the rap game but artists like LYNCH, BO, X RAIDED, YUKMOUTH, GANGSTARR, BRAND NUBIAN, UGK, SCARFACE, etc...are way more listenable on a day to day basis.

but at the same time
jay z's songs > crooked i's songs

crooked is a better emcee on all accounts, but he doesnt have any songs that are musical.. all u can say is did u hear crooked's bar right there?? he's someone u gotta listen to bar for bar.. but u'll never hear crooked i in the clubs or anything that really has to do wit music.. he's tight tho, everytime i hear him on a mixtape, he be destroyin tracks.. but then again "if the bitches aint dancing sexy to it, then it aint really poppin musically"

I Never liked Jay, still don't, so i'm biased.

I do know that Crooked I's nice. I don't give a fuck if he don't have an album, some of the tightest rappers never even seen a both so... but I think this post should be changed to Crooked I better than Bishop Lamonte? cuz they're more related...

ive said it since day one and i still believe...jay-z=overrated
crooked i can come real tight sometimes, but im still not trippin. My main problem with him is beat selection.

lol,crook needs to release a real album before he could be considered better than a platinum artist,all this hype over crook is getting old hes a mixtape artist at best and hes never gonna blow
