Broken rib?!....he didnt seem to be bothered by anything around his rib area, just his groin when Kongo kneed him. But if he did suffer a broken rib that'll explain it! IMO he was just too scared to get knocked out like his previous fight with Gonzaga.

I don't think Cro Cop is scared of being hit. He fought in K1 for years and took punches and kicks from the best strikers in the world. Watch his fights with Andy Hug or JLB.

The Cro Cop in this fight was not himself, nor has he been since he came into the UFC. He fights like he doesn't want to be there, and watered down his striking. Cro Cop was talking about retiring after he lost to Fedor. The guy fought for a long time in K1 and has fought for Pride for years. I really don't think he's committed to this anymore...

if he wants to quit than he should, if hes not into it he should retire. Unless he wants to get knocked out for a paycheck. He's a savage but if he's not into he might as well quit

He can't quit now he has 3 fights left on his contract so he is gonna have to heal and try to expand his game.

It's ironic that Cro Cop probably lost this fight because he was so wary of getting kicked in the head again.
With every kick that Kongo threw, Mirko never dropped his hands from protecting his head. So all the kicks zero'd in on Mirko's body.
Mirko has balls, that's for sure. He took a knee to the groin in the first round that went unnoticed by McArthy (had McArthy cought it, there would've been a point deduction in the second round when Kongo hit him twice).
So multiple shots to the groin and a broken rib and he was still able to finish the fight? That takes balls, and it shows to me that Crop Cop's still got a lot left in him....
