i know im late, but ive been bumpin this album all week...and what more can i say, than dudes is sleeping when it comes to crhymes..if youre a fan of san diego rap in general, you will feel this record, with features by lil uno, sicko camp, cyco city, ecay uno, AND some good ol classic ecay uno south east production on 5 tracks...i wouldnt categorize it as chicano rap as some cats like to do..theres no ese vato loco lowridin tracks here..
stand out tracks imo are.
all my people (sick flow, tight ecay uno beat)
breathe in breathe out (once again ecay uno on the beat, and we get real deep into crhymes tumultuous childhood on this one)
fuck the babbys (classic of lil ones keep it clean compilation)
left right left feat. cyco city (crhymes verse depicts the hood life in a military minded fashion)
remember the rain (dope beat, dope sample, and crhymes goes deep once again into the painful things we all experience when it comes to these fickle minded hoes)
hate me feat. bizzy bone (energetic track where crhymes holds his own next to the legendary bizzy bone)
my only negative comment would be the album could have benifited from a better cleaner mixing and mastering.
all in all, this shit is solid and has a lil somethin for everyone, yet doesnt stray into unfamiliar territory.
peep it out...and if you aint feelin him, then you at least gotta admire his grind and hustle..you cannot be a fan of SD rap and not know who crhymes is hahaha..
