Credit checks and shit

so i tried to get a cell phone but i got rejected cause of my credit... but wtf.. i dont think i even have credit to get rejected for

how does this shit work? my friend was telling me if they check your credit and reject you your credit goes down even more. can anybody shine some light on this?

i kno it says free but im not sure if it really is..and yeah, ur credit goes down when.. u check it, u pay your bills late or not at all (etc.)

you mite have to jus go buy a pay as you go phone..

oh if u only wanted the phone to build credit go buy some jewlery u kno u can afford that will help. my bro did that so he could get a loan, he bought his wife's ring and then some chains... some jewlery stores dont give a fuck about your credit..
