Looking for soem shock and awe or just over the top violence or completely trippy and bizarre. I know some of you film heads have odd taste. Lay em on me.
I don't watch super gory movies, so movies like Pan's Labyrinth, Repo Men, and Inglorious Basterds with the face smashing and shit like that comes off as real shocking to me.
There was some otherworldly grimy shit going on in Repo Men. Body part selling an repo'ing.... and all the body part removal an audience can stand. Gross.
Blue Velvet, In A Glass Cage, Pink Flamingos, Shivers, Begotten, August Underground’s Mordum, Aftermath, I Saw The Devil, Flowers Of Flesh And Blood, Happiness, Visitor Q, Antichrist...?
skip irreversible; i couldnt even get like 5 minutes into the movie, its incredibly homosexual. like the first thing you see is two dudes laying in bed with each other, then it does this weird spinny camera thing and brings you down into a gay club where theres dudes fucking each other in the ass, i was like WHAT THE FUCK FUCK THIS SHIT and fastforwarded like halfway into the movie, right to a part where some dudes are beating up a transexual and she whips her dick out.
im not kidding either; this really happens. i couldnt bother to watch the shit, it was far too much for me
audition is kind of good if you can deal with the long slow build up. i tried to watch it with friends and they fell asleep, but i was glued to that shit and it turned into a huge payoff at the end.
so unless you can kind of immerse yourself into a slow movie the payoff wont be shit for you at the end i dont think. but i was completely engrossed into the movie and by the end i was thinking HOLY SHIT!!! lol
i think you can find the full movie in HD quality on youtube pretty easily, you dont got to buy it unless you really wnat to
I was disappointed by Audition. Heard so much about it and when I watched it it was like Butcher said a long build up, but the end wasn't that great to make up for it.
Of the ones listed I liked I Saw The Devil the most. A bit difficult to say good/bad, cause that depends what you like in movies. If you like disturbing movies, I'd say August Underground’s Mordum is the best on that list, but in the end, I wouldn't say it's a good movie.

yea lol. if youre like LDS like he said and you arent watching ridiculous shit like Martyrs or Salo then audition can be pretty shocking / extremely disturbing and WTF
but if youre desensitized to any degree its not too bad, but you might consider it boring
