He could have been getting it for a family member, etc...

I'm sure some will say that getting it right after a loss is probably the issue..instead of being upset about the loss, you're trying to get his autograph...

Anyway, this might get blown up in the sports media...

Nothing really wrong with it, but I wouldn't let that slide if it was my team. Are you really out there to win with 100% commitment if you revere your opposition enough to get an autograph from them? I don't think so.

The concept of even wanting an autograph from someone I was playing against is weird to me.

I can feel that too...IDK, nothing wrong with him wanting the autograph for whatever reason, but I think right after a loss isnt the most "appropriate" time to do so IMO....I can see coaches and Cowboy players feeling a certain way about this....

I mean, I played against Bush when he was at SC..although I would never want an autograph, but even If I did, I can see my coach and teammates being pissed about it...especially after a loss...its not just the best time to do that IMO...but others may feel different...

I don't see a problem with it at all even if it was for himself. The game was over and he could have been a fan of Vick's.

Who cares if it was after a loss.... the game was over. They shake hands, hug, pray, and chop up game after the games so I don't see anything wrong with a player wanting another player's autograph.
