Quincy Carter looked fuckin lost out there. He is not gonna lead the Cowboys anywhere but the gutter. If Dallas doesnt start Chad Hutchinson next week against the Titans, they are retarded. Bottom line is, Carter is just not a pocket passer, and all he did last night was stand in the pocket and throw shitty balls. Coslet has got to come up with a better game plan than that bullshit.
But on a good note (if there is one) our defense looked pretty dam solid, sacking Carr 6 times and stopping the run as well. And Antonio Bryant looked pretty good too, catching some nice balls (when they werent thrown over his head).

Carter is a pocket passer he never got in rhythm and the PLAY CALLING SUCKED. He sucked also, he was rattled and his mechanics went to garbage. First of all our whole offensive philosophy is about playaction passes and throwing deep. We couldn't do a playaction pass because Quincy couldn't take a snap without being bull rushed by Kailee Wong. And Antonio Bryant was shut down, the dummy didn't even finish off his slant and Carter threw a pick to Glenn.
The truth was we were out coached, Capers beat out Coslet easily. And Campo didn't have these guys disciplined or ready we totaled 117 yards in penalty.
Lastly we will rebound next week against the Titans. But we got to get Carter protection because he is a pocket passer. He's not a running QB like Michael Vick, he's mobile and can get out the way but he doesn't run often. Thats why on one play you saw him juke 2 defenders in the pocket and darted one 25 yards to Galloway over the middle.

Aight, Aight. I gotta give Quincy a little slack here, the offensive line so bad it wasnt even funny. But even still, the few times that the O-line did give Q decent protection, he made some ugly throws. Like that one on 3rd down where AB was wide open and he threw it to Dave Campo.

Well heres another problem I had with our gameplan..WE RESTRICTED QUINCY'S playmaking ability. Yes Quincy is a pocket passer, but the guy has as many moves as Vick and we should've calmed his nerves down by having him rollout and run more. But I don't think that would salvage what happened on Sunday. Expect Quincy to be moving A LOT and making plays with both his feet and arm.

And the other part of the gameplan was to hit Antonio Bryant on intermediate routes. LOL!! We put too much pressure calling him the next Irvin all ready, yeah he's good but he's still a rook we can't forget that now. And Aaron Glenn ate HIM UP!! No blocking + No Playaction + Aaron Glenn blanketing Bryant= innacuracy= no passing game.
And guess what? Tennessee will do that on Sunday. They will stick Samari on Antonio and dbl Galloway. But the good news is...we signed Darnay Scott, we need his veteran presence.
