Who will win?

:::

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo will fight for the WBC lightweight title June 3 in Las Vegas.

The fighters have split two previous meetings. The third bout was announced Tuesday.

Corrales is 40-3 with 33 knockouts. Castillo, a former two-time WBC lightweight champion, is 54-7-1 with 47 knockouts.

Corrales won their first bout on a 10th-round TKO that gave him the WBC title in May 2005 in Las Vegas.

Castillo won the rematch five months later with a fourth-round knockout. But Corrales earned the WBC title when Castillo failed to make the 135-pound limit and one of his camp members was caught trying to tamper with the scale at the weigh-in.

"It will not be easy, but I will definitely make the weight this time," Castillo said. "I expect another great fight, just like our first two."

The 12-round bout will be held at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Castillo with a mid to late TKO/KO. Corrales' style plays right into what Castillo is effective against. Castillo catches him again for a TKO/KO.

Regardless of the winner it should be a war until it's stopped.

I'm rooting for Chico...but Castillo was looking sharp in their last meeting.

Two of the best fights I've ever seen though, no doubt...these dudes go at it like fuckin champs toe to toe.

Can't wait for this one.

^^^What about Corrales repeatedly spitting out his mouthpiece in the first fight? That's some cheater shit right there too, buying more time after each knock down.

^^Don't matter , they split the first two and this next one should be a war. I'm definitely looking forward to this and it's only on Showtime and not PPV.

if corrales wants to win this fight he has to use his reach. he can't be in the phone booth all day. thats what got him knocked out last time. just stand back every now and then throw your blows and if castillo gets in close fight it out but don't stand there all day like the first fight. castillo might have more confidence from knocking him out in the second fight and should stick to his game plan. thats his domain. corrales gotta fight two ways this time and use his reach advantage. otherwise he'll be in for a knockout or a decision he might not win.

my 2 cents.
