Does anyone have a list of copyright laws like shit you can and cant do when it comes to producing muzicc, what about when it comes to sampling shit, if you change a beat enough how can someone say that shit is still theres. IF ANYNOEZ ABOUT THIS HIT ME UP.

if you sample anything from a song, or copyrighted work without clearing it, you are under violation. It doesn't matter if itz 1 bar to several bars and if you can't really tell what it is(some do slip by). If it gets to the wrong ears you can
be you'll be hearing form somebody's lawyer

Big J is right, you can be taken to court for even taking one sound form a song. They just have to prove that you got it from them. Theres no set rules when it comes to stuff like this. I suggest get "The Musician's Business & Legal Guide". It's a pretty good book. It also has sample contracts. Although you should have your lawyer right your contracts. If your like me you don't have money to be spending on lawyers. Hope this helps...
