convertx2dvd question

at first i use to get like 80-100 frames per sec...now im convertin like at 20fps any ideas why it might be doing so slow now

Mine seems to go faster with less CPU usage.

If I'm running a bunch of shit and watching a movie and playing itunes and counter strike at the same time then it goes slow.

Running just convertx and walk away for a few min and come back it works fine.

Yes when I use that program, I turn off every single other program. Then I make sure my computer is set to run on high performance under the computer power settings in the screen saver window thing. I also cut off the video preview. Let that shit run, walk away like Mr.Rictus said, and it should run smooth.

yea i tried that its still at around 18fps...i dont know..what went wrong..cuz it was always at 80fps no lower than that...
