converting quicktime files to mpeg

planning on uppin some homemade videos soon...i need to know how to converted them to mpeg from quicktime...

whoever helps me will be very pleased with the results, this will be a classic thread

just go to download.com and type in ipod or just look for a program called handbreak on yahoo or google. But thats for mac only

Basically, for your situation, there are two ways to go. First what version MPEG video are you trying to output? MPEG-1/2/4? If you have QuickTime Pro you can export to MPEG-1/2/4. Or if you don't try Super. It is a freeware multiformat video converter. It will let you transcode to MPEG/Flash Video/WMV/AVI/XviD/DivX/VOB/etc. You can also convert/transcode to PSP/iPod/3GP for PSP/iPod/cell phones.

NAW MY COMP TOOK A SHIT ON ME AND IS IN STORAGE...IM GONNA HAVE TO GET THESE PROGRAMS AND GET EM ON MY LAPTOP...
