i got contraversy yesterday. gave it a second soak today. i don't have any problems with contrabands lyrics but the beats did'nt do him any justice. some of the beats sounded like outdated sactown beats, some were too noisy and there was too many songs with kokane collabs. i like what i heard from contrabands features he was on some tight beats i was expecting more of that. something more smoother, some eeries something consistent throughout the album. like i said alot of those beats sound like noise so it's not easy to listen to. there are some good cuts throughout the album but it's not consistent enough for me to really listen to all the way without wanting to skip i can't even find the songs i like the most. not to be an asshole but i think contraband deserves better beats than that.

i love this album strong 3*s maybe even 4 out of 5...the beats were dope...i think singular production for underground artists can get repetitive though

this was a pretty solid album i thought. however i expected somethin else, somethin along the lines of the rest of Cricet's shit that Contraband was featured on. Hopefully the Hood Mob is more like that. Cuz I dont think this will last in my deck for very long (minus a few songs I put on my IPOD)
