I wonder how Edgerrin is feelin right about now. Kind of funny, cuze the Colts never missed a beat after losin him. I think they won quietly all year. There wasn't much hype around them all year, and they tore shit up. I'm glad they won. Now Peyton finally got his ring and all these repoters can stop askin if he's a HOFer or not. Which I thought he was one without the ring anyway. Niners '08, oh boy.

There was no clear-cut MVP, but Peyton deserved it as much as anyone else on the field. His passing game is what allowed Rhodes to gain those yards.

Anyway to everyone who argued with me about this game.. I told you.

In my opinion Addai shoulda been MVP. And I think Dungy shoulda threw the ball to him a couple more times to get the Superbowl record. Not only did he have 10 rec. he also had 77 rushing yards. I didn't really expect to see Manning get MVP either. I thought either Rhodes or Addai for sure, cuze Rhodes made some big plays when it counted.

What a lot of people seem to forget is Peyton Manning is the tyrant of that offense. He's the one who ultimately calls every single play they run. The OC calls the initial play, but Peyton audibles out of it whenever he feels it is not going to work. And in those no-huddle plays it's Manning calling every play. SO no matter what the coaches want to run, Peyton is the one who decides what they will do. No other QB in the league has that much responsibility and if he doesn't choose the right plays and help execute them correctly their offense will do nothing. So no matter who seemed like the MVP statistically, it's Peyton Manning who is the Most Valuable Player of that team every single game, including this one.

Well if you wanna break it down like that then Peyton should be considered the greatest QB of all-time, if he continues the same path he's on. We're all so used to seeing Peyton gettin 300 yds. with 3 TDs every game no problem. When he goes 250 for 1 TD and 1 INT, no one expected, or at least I didn't, to see him get MVP. I never thought that he didn't deserve it, I just expected Addai or Rhodes to get it so much that it caught me off guard. Especially since I thought for some reason Addai got the Superbowl reception record for sure, cuze I did miss a couple minutes of the game. I think early in the 3rd quarter he had already had 10 rec. and the way he was goin I thought it was a lock for sure. Not as bad as when Holmgren wouldn't let Alexander gettin the rushing title a couple years back. I think he just need like 1 or 2 yards and Holmgren was tryin to prove a point I guess, a lil overboard, but oh well ain't my team, haha.
