OK so I have a Gateway GT4022 Desktop.

I want to upgrade it because right now the video card sucks ass and the memory is only at 1gb.

I want to get a GEFORCE 8600 GTS video and like 2gb of memory with it..

My question is this... I know I'm going to need a bigger power supply... And I may even need a new motherboard. What type of power supply would work best with what I have? And.... Will I need a new motherboard?

right now i have geforce 6100 in there which isnt even the minimum requirements for gears of war.. world in conflict... or COD 4

so computer geniuses please help me out here.

add memory and video card first, then see if u need all that extra shit, if u bump up to 4gb memory and a sicc video card you system will be extremely faster
Don't upgrade to 4GB of RAM unless your running 64bit Windows Vista and upgrade to an 8800 video card. If your running a 32bit operating system you won't even be able to utilize anything over 3GB of RAM even if you have 4GB installed. But dude is right though 4GB of RAM and a 8800 Geforce would be sick as fuck.
