Computer question/help....

Aright.. so a few nights ago i was on my computer and the shit just shut off... so i left it off for an hour or so and turned it backon.. it started up and then after a minute or 2 it just shut off... now i cant start it... it will start once i change the voltage from a switch in the back of my computer (im assuming its voltage.. cause i turned it to 250v i think) but no picture will show up...

is my computer fucked? or whats up? help me out here...

i have the same problem at work. i think its the harddrive that is fucked up. but my guess is as good as any.

Your power supply is shot. The reason your getting power on the other voltage is cause that setting works but not the right voltage for the monitor. Now when you change it back and try to power it on and it dont work then your power supply is shot...how do i know this well cause it happend to me lol.Went out and bought a new power supply put it in a boom fixed.

I had a problem like that and replaced my power supply and the same thing happened. I had to get a new motherboard. Does it shut off before it loads windows?

my power supply waslike $50 altogether with shippin and was easy to change, just remember where you disconnect thangs and keep track of it....
just google it

mine started out startin up then shut down half way into booting. Eventully it just shut off. I wouldnt even order a power supply you can get one for around 30 bucks at a computer store.
