computer problem: virus or spy ware

damn my computer is running hella slow lately....it works fine until i go online then windows take for ever to pop open and everything slows down....

ive ran norton, panda free online virus scan, ad-aware 6 (updated) and spybot 1.2 updated.... under spybot tools on processes it says " explorer.exe " threads = 55 and i only have 3 windows open....is that normal...

what else is there left 2 do?

restart it if you haven't restarted it today...

then clean your hard drive for extra junk it might have on it (START > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup)

then defrag your computer (START > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter)

i think its jus running slow, but not cuz of spyware...

did you clean your cache out? i think it does it when you do disk clean up though....

get this program called 'spybot search and destroy'. it cleans all the bullshit off for you. you'll be suprised at what it finds
