Or hit up a local grocery store. They usually have a fax machine customers can use for a buck or 2.

How do you send faxes thru your computer?

You need a fax modem and software like WinFax. Or you can try using the Fax software in Windows. I've never used it so I don't know how good it is. If you don't have a fax modem and don't want to buy/install one just to send faxes you can use most multifunction printers that have fax from a computer when connected directly to one. Or the simplest way is eFax or similar services. eFax will allow you to recieve faxes as emails.
