Eminem Show was illmatic level. all bullshit aside. you cant really compare illmatic to any of eminem albums though bc they are totally different styles and came out in different eras. thats like comparing Usher Confessions to MJ thriller you cant do it, different eras. both albums was groundbreaking in their respected eras. or Jordan to lebron cant do it they not from the same cloth or time.

go look on the google at the polls majority say MMLP and Eminem show is his best albums to date. majority is what brings in facts. also eminem show is now a official Diamond album selling over ten million copies. so like i said it wasnt too shitty..His only albums to go diamond are marshall mathers lp and eminem show. so you failed.

How have I failed when I told you several times that how many copies an album has sold has zero relevance to how good it is as it is the 15-year olds (and mostly the female ones) that are the largest album-buying population so in general you need to target them in order to sell a lot of ablums, and these are not exactly the people whose music tastes one would want to base his opinion about music on. By that logic the Backstreet Boys have better albums than Illmatic too.
What the critics who write for the mainstream media have to say about albums is also largely irrelevant - the majority of those have to praise certain albums irrespective of their actual opinion, they are part of the industry after all.
