Just got my completion papers turned into the court. Don't ever get a DUI shit is super whack!! But it's been a long road and I'm finally at the end of it! And I smokedthe whole time they ain't stop that. Thank god for handwarmers ace bandages and small containers with thermometers on em... Anyone else just complete or almost done with their DUI's??

I think the worst part of a DUI, and I mean worse than losing your license, is not only being forced to attend classes, but paying for them as well.
Looking back I am glad I went through all that shit, though - most of my friends who have never gone through it still drive intoxicated like it don't mean shit. When it's "my turn" to drive out, I'm dishing out $20 and we're all rolling in a taxi. Fuck all the bullshit.

Until I got a letter along with my California State tax refund, basically telling me that they already took the money out, and that I should expect the rest of it in the mail.
I refuse to pay those stupid ass tickets, but I guess in the end I end up paying them in a different way.

Not only that MOREBASS, but if you let it happen like that you end up paying a lot more. For instance, I got a speeding ticket that required me to pay around $100 and traffic school. I said fuck it (actually I just forgot) and some time later ended up paying around a thousand. They will even garnish your wages before tax time if they find out where you're working.
As far as the DUI, I have another pre-trial hearing...we rescheduled because my attorney found a few inconsistencies in the police report.
It sucks because the stupid intersection where I got pulled over doesn't have traffic cameras, because he flat out lied in his weak ass report, and all I would have needed was some footage of the incedent.

yeah, the cop was on my nerves and i was like man write whatveer the hell you want so i can bounce so he deicded to be a dick and write like three...but hell if i pay that shit. im wondering if theyre gonna take it out of my federal, i didnt even file cuz of that (files state not federal) but im waiting on a new copy of my w-2 so i can do it before the 15th...

I've mouthpieced my way out of two DUI's in the past year, one the rookie cops couldn't figure out how to use the breathalizer, and the other one the cops just let me sleep it off cus i went to school with the cop in training.

you are totally right...but alcoholics (and addicts in general) do a lot of irresponsible things as a result of their addictions. instead of punishing drunk drivers with meaningless classes where the staff is even less thrilled to be, i think the gov't should focus on recovery

I didn't drink and drive to look cool. I did it because it was my turn to drive, and because I wanted to enjoy the night just like everybody else.
I always knew when I was too ripped to drive.
The one time I did get pulled over its because I was in weak ass Daly City, right near the police station where the cops have nothing better to do.
I'm on the same boat. We had to reschedule the DMV hearing a few times, because the officer told the counseling center one BAC level when he dropped me off, and then in the police report had a whole other number, so we're going to try and fight it on the inconsistency.

I got mine in San Mateo county, where all they pretty much give out is 'standard' DUI's.

I was a dumbass and got a blood test instead of a breath test.
Note to everyone in here. If you ever happen to get pulled over and you've been drinking. Opt for the breath test (at the station, not on the scene). Its easier to fight because its not as accurate.
My blood came back at a .12
