You worded the question kinda tricky, like it's a given fact that when they get older, they come out the closet... lol
I wish it was on a marriage license. "If our son turns out a faggot, it's an automatic divorce so that "mom" and that "fairy little mutherfucker" can live happily ever after, and I don't have to live the rest of my life at the other end of a bottle."
And that's it, the man gets to move on and forget the fact that he was ever married, and the fact that his son ended up a queer.
But for real though, if my son ended up gay, I have no idea what I would do. But what I do know is, that I'm going to be sure I raise him to become a man. Kuz I knew some kid from kindergarden -> third grade, and back before I knew what a fag was, I knew that fool was a going to be one. He threw like a girl, acted like a girl.... I ran into him a couple years ago, and he looked almost exactly the same... except for the fact he was dressed like a female!!!
Most of them start when they're young. You've got to be the man for your child, and set the example for them and be an idol. Unless you're known to have gayish tendencies, kuz in that case, you're MANLY BITCH could probably set a better example than you....

Yup... i think everyone knows one of these kids growing up. Which tells me that if your gonna be gay, youre pretty much born with it. @melotraumatic Nope, it's both choice and birth, there's many cases of both. It is possible for a straight pussy-lovin dude to switch up. Straights switching up doesn't always have to do with sexual desires, it's more like affection towards the same gender that changes ones sexual orientation.
