Comic book movies turning into...comics?

what are your thoughts on the reboots and swarming of comic book movies lately? the new spider-man reboot and shit, even batman is supposedly getting a reboot..

to me, it doesnt seem like they rebooting as much as they are a new series..if that makes any spider sense. i mean theres amazing, spectacular, and just spider-man..theres the dark night, shadow of the bat, legend of the dark night..all based upon one here, grounded by pretty much the same origins but different storyline/alternate realities and sometimes different universes all together..

just something that i was thinking about

i'm all for it, gives a fresh start to something that starts getting old after awhile (ie Sam Raimi's Spiderman).


I'd like to eventually see a X-Men Age Of Apocalypse Trilogy

I too am for it, most try to hard to be in between dark and heroic. I personally would like to see movies that are true to comics, or completely brutal and dark. (Not like Dark Knight, even more edgy than that)

More risks need to be taken to become fresh again for viewers like me.

I think a lot of them are stupid as shit, personally. Graphic novels would be better, but most people wouldn't recognize the characters... but, watch we'll end up with a Aqua Man movie... lulz

well theres only so many comic book heroes with name recognition
to morons..even if they are weak and you didnt really read them like
daredevil, thor, green lantern, captain america.....

its all on someone like dark horse to change shit up.
