Comcast vs Direct TV

Which is better? We have comcast right now and they're shiesty. Our bill keeps increasing and them mf's don't even tell us. I think we're paying waaay too much for their service. We pay $70 a month just for basic cable, and then another $70 for the HBO,Showtime,Starz, etc... package. Plus an extra $15 a month for the DVR/HD boxes. And then we pay about $50 more dollars for the internet services. So we're paying over $200 a month for cable with HD and Internet services.

just call up and talk to Comcast's retention department, tell em you wanna cancel because of price, and I guarantee you get that shit bundled for less than $150... but naw, I didn't think the bay area was that much more expensive than the Twin Cities for cable... Comcast's Premier pack that has everything is $108.99/mo up here, all premium channels & everything..

i use to have the package w/ all premiums. i was paying 159.00

it went up after a year which is bs so i downgraded

triple play w/encore + HD = 125

att uverse is the best I pay 114 a month thats for every channel all regular all movie all sports channels and internet plus you can record 4 programs at once and since everything comes through a modem the service also includes a wireless modem which is perfect for all my wi-fi items plus no satellite to mess with.

Turbo 1080P HD applies to their new release movies on demand PPV's only... don't expect to be watchin actual HD channels in 1080P...

Yeah we just got Uverse in Hayward so we signed up hella quick! Hella more channels and we get 3 boxes wit dvrs and internet for tha same price of 1 box and internet from comcast....Me and tha wife was happy as hell to drop off all there shit today!

foreal, fiber optic is the future, theyre lagging it because they gotta run all that wire underground. Installation is like 2-4 hours long but its worth it from the quality i have seen. I had verizon's internet.. that shit is capped well atleast the wireless shit was, if you went over 5gb it was like a certain amount after that for every KB or MB you went over.

you could probally get the nfl season ticket, all the movie channels and dsl internet and pay less then comcast yearly....
