I had it for about 2 days. what time frame of peak hours playa? I've used it in the morning, midday, and around 8-10pm and its still consistent

Damn I guess it depends on your neighborhood.
I couldn't bare to use it in the morning and through out the day.
Shit only got fast after 5 or 6 pm.

The 3347 is only about 417 KB/s downloading speed. I think T1 is better than T3 but I could be mistaken. I believe t1 is like 500/month. Layzie said that he has the 4 month deal right now which he is paying $29.95. But after that 4 month period is up, it'll go up to like 49.99/month.

I have been using Comcast since '99, but back then it was AT&T @home. So... technically I have been using Comcast since the 2002 or 2003 take over of at&t.

More than likely thats his upload speed if he is on t3. His downloading speed is most likely around 3000-10,000 KB/s or 3-5 times his upload speed.

very true, and this 4 month trial period will be enought time for me to determine whether Comcast will be an asset for $50 a month.

I'm payin just $24.99 a month for it it's the second highest level you can get!

The thing that works is the more products you have with SBC the cheaper stuff like this would
be. I have my long distance with them, CALLER ID,HOME MESSENGER (it's actually the works package)
so i get a fat discount that is my price as long as i have those services. Also when any new promotion
pops like lets say they have a promotion for $19.99 i can call and gett hat aswell, because ihave all their servies. Right now they even have SATEILITE NOW! FOR ONLY $39.99 (thats 120 chanels DIGITAL)
But my price $35.99 plus they offer the HD TV for only $5 more i was like WOW!!!!

So it's good i'm happy!
