Check this article out. Comcast just keeps getting better and better lol. Oh and dont get me started on there "powerboost" lol. A boost of power to 16mbps for about 1min then it throttles back down to 6mbps lol.

the comparison between Comcast HD and DirecTV is night and day. When I watch a movie in HD at my boys on his Comcast it just looks like widescreen, nothing HD about it.

#1 this is old and screenshots don't say shit, it's a garbage argument

#2 the actual differences when looked at on an average 40+ inch 1080p tv are hardly noticeable when using the same components, and really only noticeable if you're anal and looking up close, not just watching a program or sports game like a normal person would from a reasonable distance.

#3 as far as Comcast internet goes, your opinion of that will be changing on the 21st and that's all I can say about that right now

Comcast customer service still sucks but the quality of the actual service is pretty much unmatched for value and it's only getting better in the months to come (if they don't fuck this up)

haha. I wish I could get Direct TV but the apartment owner doesn't allow satelites to be installed which sucks. When I moved here I was forced to get charter, I loved my direct TV.

thats a crock of shit. I lived in an appartment complex that was the same way. They didnt wanted them mounted to the building. But the alternative was to get a tripod and mount the dish on top of the tripod. The tripod just sits in your backyard and if you know how to use the signal finder on the receiver you just set it so it beeps and move the tripod till you get a strong signal. The downfall of this would be rain or wind fucks up the signal. But small price to pay to still get direct TV.

they make a mount that mounts to your balcony if you got one.. or you can mount it on a wooden frame that you build..

^^^^exacly and the place i was at did not have a clear view of the sky also. They had trees in the comlpex that blocked the sky. I got the service and took my chances. It took me a good 20min to get the signal but I found it.
